Design Co-ordinator
Salary:

The Company:
Role: A leading Main Contractor is looking for an experinced Design Coodinator. The main role will be to manage the design of projects through bid stage to the start of the construction phase. To utilise construction knowledge and experience to develop innovative and cost effective design solutions in conjunction with the design team, apply value engineering principles to ensure best value for all parties, and ensure an effective construction phase by applying an understanding of site management practices, risks, costs and co-ordination. The ideal Candidate must have: • Comprehensive experience working for a Main Contractor • Well developed Technical Construction knowledge. • Knowledge of current Building Regulations & other industry standards. • Experience of working on education projects • Construction/Surveying - HND/Degree or similar • Competent user of Microsoft packages e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word.
